Our chapter supports the northwest suburban area of Chicago.  We are the proud winner of the Gamma Phi Beta Hall of Fame Award (2004) and the Outstanding Alumnae Chapter Service Award for 2000-2002 and are members of the Founders Circle and the Diamond Circle of Excellence.  We meet once a month on the fourth Wednesday.  We are proud to have Regional Coordinators, New Member Programming Coordinator, Alumnae Sorority Coordinator, Nominating Committee Delegate as well as House Corp Board members in our chapter.  

Our chapter is also proud to have our Panhellenic delegate actively involved in the local area Panhellenic.

Bows, Books and Movies

As we prepare for a long, Midwest winter, it's good to have a list of books and movies to enjoy.  Everyone should bring a book or movie title to share with the group and a short, personal review.  By the end of the night, we should have a great list of must-reads and must-sees.  We also will be preparing our bows for our carnation project so please bring some scissors.

Spring Potting and Appetizer Party

Spring is here so let's celebrate!  We'll begin the meeting with a potting demonstration and hands-on activity led by our very own Kristi Robbins.  Everyone will go home with a potted plant arrangement.

Perfect for summer entertaining, share your favorite appetizer ideas. Please bring your favorite appetizer (about 15 servings) and copies of the recipe.

There will be a small material charge for this meeting.  Dress for outdoor weather.

Fundraising Opportunities

As an award winning alumnae chapter, one of our strengths is fundraising.  We ask all of our members to participate in as many fundraising events as they can.

Carnation Sales

We sell carnations bouquets to the parents of Epsilon collegians at Northwestern University to celebrate Founders Day.  Our group then assembles and delivers them.

Valentine’s Day Care Packages

We sell care packages to the parents of the women at the University of Illinois, Illinois State University, Bradley University and Valparaiso University.  Members donate food and items for the packages.  We assemble and ship the packages to the chapter houses.

Stock up on your holiday wrapping paper through Gamma Phi Beta.  A percentage goes to our chapter’s fundraising efforts.  Orders are due by October 25th.

Jewel Shop and Share Days
Jewel Grocery Store will donate 5% of your grocery purchases to our chapter during special shopping days.
